AR Procedures using Chromebooks
We are going to allow students to take AR quizzes in our classrooms during SSR using Chromebooks.
Once the students have their Google sign ons, they should save the link as a favorite.
1. Google Redwood Middle School Napa (select)
2. Click on Resources on the bar, Select Library-Media Center
3. Click on Online catalog
4. Click on Redwood Middle School
5. Select Take AR Quiz/STAR Reading Test
*Bookmark this page (you may want to change the name to AR)
6. Select Student
7. Username = Student ID Number (6 digits)
8. Password = abc
9. Accelerated Reader (orange square)
10. Take “Reading Practice Quiz” and “Vocabulary Quiz” (not all books have a
vocabulary quiz)
11. After the student has completed quiz, teacher verifies percent scored
and initials the student’s log. The student needs to go into “Print Tops
Report” to check their percent of goal.
*Double-check the date in the top left box of the TOPS report to make sure it matches the current time and date
