Meeting with NASA administrator in Madrid

Meeting with the NASA administrator Charles F. Bolden on Friday, 28th October 2012. The NASA Administrator is visiting Spain on 28th September in order to participate in an event with secondary school students from different state schools from Madrid and Barcelona. His lecture will be broadcast live on the Internet.

CONCURSO CARTEL COMENIUS

A Branch of Olive, A Gift of Life

Nuestro centro ha sido obsequiado con un proyecto comenius junto con los países de Turquía, Grecia e Italia. El tema elegido ha sido el aceite de oliva, elemento común entre los países mediterráneos. Por consiguiente, estaremos realizando actividades relacionadas con esta temática en colaboración con los centros educativos de estos países durante los dos próximos cursos.
Con objeto de hacer público este proyecto, se ha creado el presente concurso entre todo el alumnado del instituto para elaborar un cartel original y creativo que dé difusión al mismo. 

La obra ganadora del concurso será impresa para ser el cartel representativo del proyecto, y su creador será recompensado con un obsequio por parte del centro.

Criterios de selección:

• ORIGINALIDAD
• COHERENCIA CON EL TEMA DEL PROYECTO
• CLARIDAD
• DIFICULTAD DE LA TÉCNICA

Técnica

La técnica será libre: lápices de colores, rotuladores, pintura al óleo, fotomontaje, ordenador o fotografía (hay que evitar la superposición de materiales para facilitar el escaneado)

Requisitos

Los elementos que debe aparecer:

1. La frase "Proyecto Comenius"
2. El título "A Branch of Olive, A Gift of Life"
3. El Logotipo Comenius
4. Un Logotipo del Proyecto que dé una idea de los elementos que se mencionan

Cantalenguas is a very interesting competition where participants perform a show singing and dancing to a foreign song of their choice. At Mirador del Genil two classes will be competing this year: 2ºA and 1º A. 2º A will be singing Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" and 1ºA will be singing The Monkeys' "I'm a Believer". Our groups have been practicing very hard and have given up their breaks and used up some lessons to practice for the competition. Many hours have been dedicated to the competion from both the teachers and the students over the last months, so hopefully * all our hard work will pay off and we will win.
