Many students have been able to experience that celebration coming from Aztec times which is so important not only for the Mexican culture here and in Mexico, but also for anyone wishing to live the memories of those that were once with us and are still present in our daily lives through the love they fed us with.

The environmentalist Berta Cáceres has been the honored character this year. We have done our best to join the cause to make justice to this Honduran activist who was trying to stop private interests to steal the river who belonged to her people, the Lencas, from Ancient times. And she was brutally murdered because of that.

Beside this, our students have sympathised with The Dreamers raising money for their cause. Both world and nearby news are affecting their lives and they have stepped up for it.

The school community of Redwood Middle School has proved once again how they care and collaborate in the education of children and they go beyond that, they provide an experience that will nourish them as human beings.

I am so proud to be a member of this amazing culture, so rich in values, in tolerance and openess. We are growing with all the things we do in common, we are growing together.
